The FAE Artist - Jon V. Jones

After graduating from school and after working at various jobs that didn’t seem fulfilling, Jon returned to a painting hobby that he’d given up a few years earlier. Rediscovering a sense of accomplishment he only felt after a picture was finished, he started painting full time with commissioned portraits all the while trying to improve his skills by studying works of the painters he most admired. “I believe that beauty can be found everywhere and in fantasy art, I find that painting is just one of many ways in telling a story or expressing a beauty not easily seen in real life. Creating new pictures is my way of escaping to a new world limited only by my imagination. A world I can revisit at any time.
