Fantasy Artists Etherium

1. How much does it cost to participate?

There is no cost to participate at The FAE. We're trying to make our artists MORE money, not give them another expense.

2. Do I need to sign a contract?

There is no contract to sign. However, there are a few criteria that need to be met in order to become a participate at The FAE.

3. What are the criteria for joining?

There are just a few:

- at least 33% of your work must fall within the genre (Fantasy - to include Steampunk)
- you have been a professional fantasy artist for a minimum of three (3) years (for our purposes "professional" is defined as the I.R.S. knows you are an artist
- I am willing to consider other definitions on a case by case basis)
- you must have a minimum of nine (9) images to display on this site
- we must be able to link to your images for sale on your web site
- we ask that you link back to www.the-fae.com in some way. Feel free to use the banners provided. You may link them to the mail page or your page here at The FAE.

4. Do you claim any ownership or rights to my artwork?

I claim no ownership or rights to your work. Your provision of the images on the site is for my use on this site only and is used directly to promote you, the artist, and your work. The purpose of this site is to help introduce potential fans to your work for sale.

5. Can I change the images used?

For security reasons and to protect all the artists here, you may not change the images yourself. However, you are welcome once per three (3) month period to send me new images or a list of images on your site that specifies what I'm replacing and what I'm replacing it with.

If I've picked the images initially, you are welcome to contact me at webmistress@the-fae.com at any time to request a change. If I do not hear from you, I may periodically change the images with newer work that you have done.

6. How much commission do you charge on sales coming from this site?

I charge no commission.

7. Can you help me find illustration work?

Unfortunately I cannot help find illustration work for any artist. I simply do not have the contacts or the time. If this changes in the future, I will definitely let all participants of The FAE know.

8. Can you help me get into Art Shows?

I cannot help you at this time, but this is a service I would like to provide in the future. If you need ideas for shows, I do have an electronic file that I am willing to share with any artist.

9. How do I become an artist at The FAE?

Click on the "Join the FAE" button at the top of each page and follow the instructions.

10. What if I do not want to participate any longer?

You can leave The FAE at any time. Send an email with the subject line "Leaving The FAE" to webmistress@the-fae.com and I will remove your page and images as soon as possible.
